Howard Hines graduated from the University of Maryland with a Ph.D. in 1983, and from Morgan State College in 1973 with a B.A. degree. He is a Licensed Psychologist and is listed on the National Registry of Licensed Psychologists. His experience includes work in hospital settings, university settings, correctional settings, private practice, group home settings, and team supervision. He does individual, couple and group psychotherapy with adolescents and adults, and he provides professional supervision for some other staff members of Christian Counseling Associates. His specialty areas include couple counseling, domestic violence (working with abusers), sexual issues, family counseling, depressive disorders and adolescent behavior problems. Dr. Hines has a desire to provide a confidential environment in which pastors, ministers, church leaders and others can utilize counseling services in their time of need.
