Florence H. Abel, ACSW, LCSW-C, BCD
Florence H. Abel received a M.S.W. from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. She has been a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) since 1974, is a Licensed Certified Social Worker and a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. She is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Florence has worked in hospitals and public agencies and has worked more than 20 years in private practice. She is one of the founders of Christian Counseling Associates, Inc. Her specialties include anxiety issues, obsessive compulsive issues, sexual adjustment, post traumatic stress disorder and issues of grief and loss. She also provides supervision and leads seminars in peer counseling.
